Week 3 - Exercise 2: Movement
Visual Research - Movement
For my movement design, the first thing that came to my mind is liquid. Therefore, I had gone through Pinterest to find the best image to fit my thoughts.

First of all, I experimented to recreate the movement of the water by using simple curved lines to form the flow in Adobe Illustration but it seems to be too plain and it can expend more into others.

I come across a documentary video that talks about whales and it have shown the movement that is suitable for the topic. Hence, I have found some references to whales. So I try to draw it out by using a piece of old canvas and painted it with acrylic paint. Firstly I paint the background with blue and white paint next I had drafted out the shape of the whales. Lastly adding some flowing lines to show that the bubbles made by the whales while they are swimming in the water.

Week 3 -
We can use lines to represent movement and the definitions do not show any mistakes but it can make it more attractive for the viewers to view.
REFLECTIONS
This topic is quite challenging because it is harder to link with an object that is fixed to have movement. Therefore I spend a long time thinking about how to show movement on a piece of paper. I found that there are many ways to show movement in our surroundings like the birds flapping their wings, people dancing and animals running.
