Welcome & Briefing
A warm welcome by Mr Fauzi to all students. After done a short introduction, he briefed us on the exercises and projects that we will be doing throughout the semester. Moving along with a simple explanation on setting up an e-portfolio at BlogSpot and homework submission in Google Classroom.

Week 1 - Introduction of Adobe Photoshop [23 / 8 / 2021]
In the first week of Digital Photography and Imaging, Mr Fauzi started up the lesson with a question Why do we need to learn Photoshop? To introduce the importance of Adobe Photoshop for graphic designers, he gave in detail 7 important benefit facts of using Adobe Photoshop and The Top 10 Tips of Successful Graphic Designer. Additionally, to let us know more detail about our projects by showing us our seniors' artworks. Moreover, he had recommended some equipment for us like cameras and tripods that will assist us on our future project.

    1. Express your creativity
    2. Create graphic design
    3. Restoration of old images
    4. Integrate graphics with text artistically
    5. Make use of  brushes
    6. Change photo colour
    7. Rectify mistakes in photographs

REFLECTIONS
 Week 1 - I have learned Adobe Photoshop over the past years and I can say that it had become one of the main software that designers can't be apart from their design artwork. Despite being an incredible tool for designers, there are much more for both beginners and experts to learn from. Thus, the internet has provided us with kinds of free and high-quality tutorials that guide us while using Adobe Photoshop.
